The norm is that if you do not book through hilton.com but do know which hotel you are booking, you will get the normal tier benefits (upgrade, free internet, free breakfast) but not points, stay credit, or night credit. You'll need to show your HHonors card at reception or somehow find some way to add your number to the booking in order for the front desk to know at all that you are Diamond.
