Stayed at the Pattaya Marriott and incurred not including tax charges of Thai baht 10,655.69, approx. US$343, but only received points from the property of 2293 (for charges of US$229.30).
Although Marriott Rewards reviewed my Folio and provided the proper number of points, can't understand why this hotel valued the charges at nearly 50% less then the estimate - can't be exchange rates as that would only vary the charge by no more then 3%!
And this is not the first time, nor probably the last time, that foreign charges will be incorrectly credited, so be warned fellow foreign travelors!
