Brussels - $ vs points - Ren vs Marriott
I'm going to Brussels for 3 nights in April.
I can book the Ren for $107 per night or the Marriott for $185 per night.
At those levels, I'd rather pay for the Ren or use points for the Marriott which would be 90,000.
I'm used to staying at Hilton's in Europe - as a Diamond, Lounge access has a full open bar (which I enjoy at the end of the day), a decent breakfast or coupons for a full breakfast in the restaurant and at many locations, an evening spread that can pass for dinner when your too exhausted to go back out at the end of the day.
Do Marriott's have this type of lounge experience?
I've stayed at the Marriott a few years ago before I had status and loved the location.
Now that I'm a Gold and have never experienced the lounges in Europe, I'm wondering if it's worth spending the points for the Marriott or spending the bucks for the Ren.
Location isn't that important as this will be our 4th trip to BRU.
