I tried to search the forum, and the answer vary. So I am trying to go:

A - B - C

I am arriving from A to B, and the plane goes back to A. (flight A - B is daily) The next flight from B to C is in one week (flight B-C is weekly). There are no earlier flights B - C. I am staying in B for a week until the first available flight B - C.

Is this a stopover or a connection for AP award ticket purpose?

Some say a stopover is >24h unless the next scheduled flight is later.

Some say a stopover is anything >24h, regardless of the fact there are no flight <24h.

What is correct?
