So I'm a complete Quantas newbie but just booked my first of several trips DEN-MEL for this year. I have no status on oneworld at all, is it best to just be a Quantas FF or use AA? Are there any advantages to either? I'm a 1K on UA (or was, ouch), does Quantas status match? Thanks for any help or point me to an FAQ that might already have this listed.
