Not only is it a nice escape from the terminal but the bathrooms are much nicer too. And for what I pay in miles that alone makes it worth it to me.
Also, you don't have to be a member. The clubs are packed with people with Amex cards.
+1. The clean bathroom is why I will often hit the club on the way out of the airport upon arrival. Of course this isnt an option with incoming intl these days, but couldnt agree more.
Also. In NYC anyway, you'll get free bagels in the mornings. A big advantage to other cities in the AC.
