I agree that The Berkeley is probably the trendiest and most relaxed choice, although I wonder if The Connaught has loosened up now that Anthony Lee has left after his 30-year tenure as GM. If you can get one of the rooms in the new wing, above the Aman Spa, then these are excellent.
