If you never ever gave Google your credit card, then that would be odd.

But Google doesn't just dig up your card out of nowhere - it comes from Google Checkout like the others said.

Chances are, you once purchased something through Google Checkout. If you don't remember what it was, log into your Checkout account and locate your history.

Really, I know people think Google is big and evil, but they don't go digging up credit card information without your knowledge.
