I think the Credit Card companies are insane for charging. If they dont wave the fee, I cancel the card and sign up for a new one. 5 minutes of my time and it cost them at least 30 dollars to process the new card. Actually on my Marriott visa, I got 10,000 bonus point for signing up for a new card. I would be glad to keep the card, but I am not paying.
