I spoke too soon complaining about the Sheraton Maui. I walked over to the Westin.
The time share people have just about taken over the entire property.

If you approach through the main entrance, what you think is the concierge, are actually the cappers for the sales pitch. Approach the hotel on either side of the beach walkways and the cappers are on both boundaries.

They took out one of the restaurants that used to be beachside and converted it to real estate offices. Most of the shops and public areas consist of one big continual advertising blitz.

I suppose if you can get past all of it, you can land the hotel for $150.00 per night recently on Hotwire.com.
