Half-way to Göteborg then, rather than half-way to Kristiansand! ;-) (OK, not quite - looks like it's about a third of the way).

But, of course Gardermoen is also a fair way out. One mustn't forget that... so perhaps Rygge isn't such a bad option.

Still, I'd probably be inclined to look at flights that actually go to Brussels rather than a different town altogether. As the OP is from North America I just thought it was worth mentioning Ryanair's somewhat misleading advertising with regards to where they actually fly to.

(A friend of mine, on getting off a flight from STN to LBC some years ago, found himself having to explain to a fellow Brit that no, this wasn't Hamburg and no, there was no way he was going to make his meeting in Hamburg in half an hour's time...)
