If staying in Versailles does not make sense, where should we stay for an easy access (direct train) to both CDG airport and Paris?
For Versailles visits I usually stay at the Holiday Inn Bourgival and earn or use points. It's out west of Paris so no real traffic problems and you can circle up north to get to CDG, again without serious traffic problems.
