Come on, have you ever tried Air China? Most of the criticism of Air China here on FT seems to come from people that have never even boarded an Air China flight before. They're really not as bad as they're claimed to be, in my own experience - much on par with UA/AA/DL/CO but there's just a language barrier sometimes.
