So strange thing happened today, sitting in 1A on 5656 msp-mdw, just as we are getting ready to push back, as there is no under chair storage for me i have put all my stuff in the bins but am holding onto my iPad and headphones for once we hit 10k. Just as we push back the FA comes unto me and tells me that iPads must be in the overhead compartment before we can take off, he proceeds to take it, put it in the bin, close it, and walk away. Clearly ignoring the lady in 1B who's holding her laptop, and a stack of magazines trying to hid her continual texting.

He also made an announcement that ipads and kindles must be stowed. Umm....was this guy just on some strange power trip? I know i was like 20 years to younger then any of the other people in first, was he trying to beat the no electronics thing into me?
