Mobile Boarding Pass Anomaly related to UDU...
This morning (830am flight) I temporarily "lost" my mobile boarding pass.
When I woke up, I checked the pass to see if my UDU had gone through as sometimes it'll update before I get the EasyUpdate email...nothing, just the same E+ seat. On my way to the airport (IAD) just as I was arriving, I went to load up my MobileBP so I could go straight to security, and it wouldn't load. Gave me a page from United saying "your mobile boarding pass isn't available at this time". I refreshed a few times, no luck. Luckily, I hadn't walked downstairs yet so I went up to the UAL desk, tried a Kiosk and it said please see an agent for assistance. All along, I continued to refresh, trying to get the MobileBP, but with the same error message. Finally, the agent tries to help on the kiosk, can't pull it up, I refresh one more time, and there is the BP, with a new seat in First (UDU went through) so I say thanks, and walk off to security.
Is UAL aware of this? I realized, had I been ~5 minutes ahead of schedule, I would've been at the front of the security line and unable to come up with a Boarding Pass, and have to walk all the way back to the desk/kiosk, etc.
Anyone else ever have this problem, or similar?
