I dunno about Flightaware but I did find an equip change on ExpertFlyer a day or so before the day of flight. So we were very happily #1 and #2 of the 20+ people needed to be bumped off the flight (757 to A320). It was a nice find...I planned ahead, had alternate routing...easy money.
