I vote for Royal Orchid - all windows face the river and the river is where you want to be. Gorgeous views of the temples, right down from the royal palace. This is not just a layover. See if you can spare at least a couple of days. Go to Ayutthya (sp??). Have the buffet dinner/dance show on the river at Orchid. Take a boat shuttle to the old Oriental and have a drink in the garden room, viewing all the B&W photos of Bangkok 100 years ago. Great city. Have a terrific honeymoon. You will LOVE Bali.
