There is really no demand. Helsinki-U.S. is a tiny market in the first place, and shrinks incredibly between October and April outside of one market Miami, which has the second largest Finnish ex-pat community in the world after Stockholm and is Helsinki's largest trans-Atlantic O&D market for half the year.
Maybe if AA started getting creative, it would think of MIA-HEL in the winter, and be able to keep the station year-round. I haven't heard of any such plans, but it would be nice.
The Finnish expat community in the Miami area is miniscule, certainly not enough to sustain any type of air service.
