Agreed - but is that because it specifically is an A380? Or because of the J and F product installed within, which is largely about the seat, IFE, cabin ambience etc etc? All these can be installed on any WB airliner of course.

One comment frequently heard is how amazingly quiet a 380 is in comparison to other WB planes (have not been on one myself BTW). That may well be a selling point at the moment - and the 747-8 would have to match it.

So am not sure whether pax are specifcally selecting the 380 because of something unique the airframe / engine specifically has (quietness, cabin humidity etc). Or because it has the newest seats, IFE....that could be installed in any airframe at the next scheduled refurb...
