Typical airfare on Cathay or Thai HKG to HKT in May?
Hi there,

I'm looking for some data points as to what airfare is from Hong Kong to Phuket on mainline carriers (Thai Airways and Cathay) R/T in the middle of May.

My Fiancee and I are going to be getting married in Phuket, so I'd prefer not to get there on Air Asia which is around 2600 HKD for 2 people... great price, but I don't want to low cost airline it over on the way to our wedding (I'll reveal the penny pinching habits after we're married :-P...).

Right now I'm getting around 3100 HKD per person for the return... does it get any cheaper the closer we get to travel dates?
