Your worry appears to be centered around that once the laptop is switched on the alenware installation has to go through. Hear me now and believe me later... it does not. There are millions of laptops sold every year and installation is a portion of them does not go through the first time. It may take more than once.
If you'd bought a mac all this worry would not have mattered.
