Don't you think your fellow passengers may have appreciated if you went to a B lounge for a shower? But you are in concord C?
According to the Lufthansa website I have a whole business row to myself with many open seats around. Plus I showered within the last 18 hours.

You can walk from concourse C to D at night. You go through the staff entrance .
