I'm not sure if you're willing to go out of country, but last September my friends and I rented a gorgeous villa in the jungle in Costa Rica (near Dominical) for ~$350 a day. It had 5 bedrooms, pool, huge open 1st floor, walking paths to waterfalls, kitchen, movie room, etc. We took day trips to Manuel Antonio (for snorkeling) and Dominical (ziplining). In the afternoons we came home and chilled, swam, and hiked. It was marvelous! We also got a killer deal on airfare since we went during the rainy season.
