It comes with a few more perks than the regular Membership Rewards programs.
They will not waive your gold card fee based on years as a member(99 is not that long compared to a lot of holders) but you can get a discounted Gold card under your Plat account. That being said your grandfathered in Gold yearly fee is I believe roughly around what it would be discounted now under your Plat.(Someone can confirm.) I would call about having the $40 MR yearly fee removed as MR is included in the Gold card now. If they wont budge try to have them place your gold card under your Plat account where you just have to pay the discounted yearly fee and no MR fee.(Points earned on your Gold card will now be considered Membership Rewards First as well since you now have a plat.)
