All those new route ideas are great but one problem exists and thats spare aircraft!!!!!
QF have already stated that they only plan on keeping 9x B744s plus the 20 A380s... That just covers the existing 380/744 routes.
An easy interim way of increasing China capacity would be to replace the existing A333s with the recently refurbed 2.5 class B744s on the PVG route. The 7 2.5 class B744s currently only serve FRA and NRT so there is room to add PVG. They should then use the spare A333s to increase BNE-HKG to daily and SYD-HKG to 2x daily.
Guess we will have to wait for the B787s if they ever arrive!
