BA miles on AA domestic - I don't understand this mileage calculation
I'm posting this in both forums...

I’m trying to book MIA>LAX>SFO; SFO>JFK>MIA and aa.com has all kinds of availability in J and F at 25K and 32.5K while ba.com has next to nothing for the same route. I call ba the 1st guy had nothing, call back the next guy had nearly every route but the mile charge was off. The 25K and 32.5K seats all showed as 37.5K (a mileage cost not shown on aa.com) which is fine if I’m going to Hawaii. So my trip that I figured at 115 to 130K for two seats was now at 150k and no explanation other then “that is was my screen shows”.

Anybody have any answers to this other then call ba back and see what I’m offered on my 3rd attempt?
