Arrow Embassy Suites Hotel Des Moines Downtown {US-IA}
I'm trying to decide on which of these to pick for a 1 night stay (so no double points)

I'm gold with Hilton and have a Hilton Am Ex. I have never stayed at an Embassy Suites so I have no experience with them. It is currently being renovated so there is a possibility that I could get a room that has not been refurbished. Reviews are fairly good though.

There is a brand new Hyatt Place a few blocks away. I have no status with them... I do have an account but no points in it yet.

Embassy Suites is $20 more.
