Many people are quick to exclaim $100USD for a resort? No way! It must be an error, and error so gross that absolutely everyone should have known about it.
And even when I described another Sheraton resort, for $60USD per night, people are already wondering if there's something fishy about the claim: that I'm not giving the straight story, that there's some sort of restriction, that the property is not as described, etc. Much like deciding that Bora Bora for $100 is an obvious mistake, there now seems to be a developing opinion that my "find" is possibly, perhaps probably, also a mistake.</font>
That's a nice story and all, but has absolutely zero relevance to the issue at hand. The rate at a Starwood property in Egypt, or anywhere else for that matter, has absolutely no bearing on whether the rate at the Bora Bora property was a mistake. And the other thing that many here conveniently "overlook" is that this "special" rate was available only for one type of room. All of the other room rates listed on the same page were at or near the 100,000 XPF rate.
