I booked PV for my upcoming trip and thought about trying them out, but couldn't resist using SWUs to upgrade to J.
Recently flew AF from Paris to Rabat, Morocco in PV on a 319/320. The 1st 8 rows were blocked off for PV with the those 1st 4 rows being FC/Business. No difference in the service within the 8 rows. If you're in PV don't bother to upgrade with a SWU on this equipment. That said, it wasn't bad for a 2.5 hour flight, extra leg room, no additional recline and a tray table in the middle seat. I think Delta would be wise to block the middle seat.
