Just wanted to follow up on your post. First of all, very glad you had a great stay at the HGI in Baton Roughe and that you got a great rate during the rough weather. As for the Diamond Desk, it is possible the rate just hadn't trickled down to them yet. So, what you ultimately did is the best course of action. Many times, our hotels act quickly in bad weather scenarios and are booking rates before the enterprise is even aware.
