I'm struggling with putting together an itinerary which gets me to the places I need to go which offers reasonable tier points at a reasonable price, and I was hoping that some of you might be able to help me out.

In the second half of July I need to spend 5-6 days in SFO, and 5-6 days in Townsville, Australia. A couple of days in Boston perhaps would be nice. My origin is London, UK.

I'm having difficulty putting together an affordable itinerary. Compared to some of the TP run routes posted in this thread, mine seem to come out vastly more expensive. Can anyone give me some suggested routes, and tips as to the best place/method to book them?
