Check seat allocation
I made 3 PE bookings during the recent DFW sale, 2 online & 1 by phone (using a voucher, so unable to do online). With online two I was allocated seats in the usual way, & got 29A & K, and the phone booking was told I had 29A. Noice to be in the J seats.
When I went into My Bookings next day, I was back in 34 / 35, with seats still available in 29 in the centre and also 30 A&K, for all bookings. So, re-secured 30A / K.
5 days later, the one made by phone was again back in 34. So, again changed back to 30. Have been checking daily (ok, a couple of times / day) & it now seems to be holding the seat request.
Following the Secure site glitches thread, & noted the comment about seat allocation not being saved for one FTer. Maybe there are a couple of flow on issues here and when the booking is finally completed it doesn't recognise the passenger's status in auto seat allocation. The 5 days for the phone booking coincides with the actual ticketed date.
So, may I suggest you check your seat allocation in case you're also thinking you've secured one of the J seats for PE, only to too late find you are back in 34 & 35. Probably applies to all classes.
