Parking around the Westing Copley/Prudential Center/Sheraton Boston is atrocious. 30$ it is. Once I parked on the street by a meter for half the cost, but that entailed running out to fill up the meter every 2 hours. I forked over the 30$ every other time.

There are some other parking spots a few blocks away which can be had for a lower price of around 15$/day, however I don't remember where they are off hand.

As for parking around the Montreal Sheraton Centre, you can selfpark in their underground garage for around 18 CAD (less than 12 USD). There are also parking lots all around the Sheraton for a few dollars less.

If you will be driving during the day and you only desire night parking here is the quick lowdown on street parking to save some money.

Sundays, parking is free at all meters, so park anywhere around the hotel.
Monday to Wednesday, parking is free at the meters after 6 PM.
Thursday and Friday, parking is free at the meters after 9 PM.
Saturday, parking is free at the meters after 6 PM.

Very important to remember though, that the large boulevard that passes by the front doors of the Sheraton (boul René-Lévesque West) parking and stopping is not allowed between 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM and 3:30 AM to 6:30 PM, because of the rush hour and the reserved bus lane.

Since the conversion rate is so strong for the U.S. dollar, I would just park in the Sheraton hotel and use public transportation to get everywhere. The metro/subway system is very efficient, quiet, clean and good-looking. And the closest stop is only a short block from the hotel.
