Stayed at Le Meridien Stuttgart by Cash+ Points several weeks ago. Forgot to go to the Gold/ Platinum check-in line, no upgrades at first, asked if I could get a better room, one of the supervisors( I assume) came by and offered me a suite^. Very nice room, only problem was the room faced to a very busy street, a little bit noisy. The lounge was not that impressive, no breakfast in lounge. No free breakfast for me, but the breakfast was well worth 25 Euro
