Taking a taxi at DUB for short trips is a nightmare best to be avoided. Legally, they must take you, but they will moan and ...... Due to an oversupply of taxis and the economic downturn, drivers can queue for several hours at the airport to get a fare - they do so expecting a Euro 40 ride into the city - they can be openly hostile if you go anywhere on the northside of the city. Malahide is OKish (at app. 20 euro).

Most importantly, Malahide is much nicer than Swords. Have lunch and take a quick walk along the marina. Travel time to DUB is 15/20 max.
