Oh, I see from your other thread you left NY this morning, are you going out via ORD or DFW? ORD has 777s to LHR and a 757 to MAN still leaving tonight. Doesn't look like there are any more non-763s flying to Europe from DFW tonight, only option is a connection in ORD.

Yes, flying DFW-MAD. I'm going to print a copy of the web bulletin to show the Purser in case he or she doesn't want to turn them on.

One thing--those PEDs used on the international 763s do NOT have enough battery life for a flight, so I don't know how AA would be able to offer them on flights of this length (hence, I think, why management decided to keep the power ports active in the NGBC cabin).

All I can do is pray that the FAs actually read the bulletin carefully!
