OP got 0 + 120 + 120 + 0 = 240, and 0 + 12056 + 12056 + 0 = 24,112.

So you've got an extra 50 tier points but 4678 fewer BA miles. It's up to you to work out whether you wish to keep tight and keep the extra TPs which may help you keep status, or if they aren't of use then the miles are worth ~ £70.

Actually I am only out 2,000 miles, I received 13395 for the long hauls, the extra TP's took me to 620 TP's so I get to retain my silver status, I already had the 4 BA metal flights.

I'll keep me gob shut on this one.

I am a very loyal BA flyer so I don't feel too bad about it.
