You can use DM mile only on the US Air site -- and book travel per their rules

Well you can book oneway awards on US BUT
One-way award travel reservations are available for the same number of miles as a roundtrip award travel reservation.

One-way and multi-city award travel reservations can only be made by calling our 24-hour Reservations Center at 800-428-4322.
