Marriott Wailea is not a 5-star resort. Had I shown Fairmont Kea Lani or the Grand Wailea in addition to Four Seasons, then you might have a point because they are closer to being 5 star.

I don't really think you can compare apples-to-apples between the two locations because the feel (and price) of them is like night and day. There are no 2-star resorts in Wailea that I know of, nor are there 4 or 5-star resorts in Kihei.

If you can find two resorts that you think offers a better comparison, please post them.
