no, they do it to international travellers in the A terminal as well, they wheel the trolley around looking for someone to hassle, they like to join in with a customs and immigration "staredown" on the boarding tunnel as well.
My son (16) gets to walk past picking his nose and staring them back, although he would normally get a "staredown" from mum for that, he has never been searched so I let him have his little protest!
