Not good in my experience. 2 hours of waiting for de-icing out of Denver made me (1k) and my companion (1k) miss our connection in IAH to LIM. The plane didn't leave the gate on time as the crew were dealing with baggage issues and said we'd lost our place in the deicing queue. At IAH they said it was still classified as weather and (after an hour wait for customer service) were rude, surly and unapologetic. We were reassigned into middle seats the next day, though there was an AA flight we could have easily made, and the flight was a 2-day turnaround at the start. The couple next to us, on the same flight, got vouchers for food and hotel, but they gave us only a 'coupon' which gave us a 'discounted' rate at a 2* hotel that was $20 more (at $69) than the $49 quoted on the hotel website. What a deal.
