You cannot avoid a rub down.

You can do everything absolutely correct, have no items on your body at all, and they may still decide to pull you out of line and do a full body genital and breast rubdown as a random subject, or the subject of a "drill" (search this forum for drills)

You may also do everything right, but have a bit of lint in your pocket, necessitating a rubdown.

There is no appeal. You can choose to order them to not touch your body and not fly that day, however you are now subject to an $11,000 fine.


Reality is, if you fly much at all, its a virtual certainty that the TSA will get their hands on your genitals and breasts at some point, or you will be fined and have to fight the $11,000 fine in TSA's own court.
