Decided on Bali for a vacation this summer with my girlfriend. I remember looking at Bali as an option for last year and I'm pretty sure I was getting rates of around $100 for Bali Hyatt and definitely less than $200 for the Grand.

Now however I'm seeing rates of $225 (no offer of advance purchase rate) for the GH, and $180 (again no offer of advance purchase) for the HR.

The prices seem a bit steep to me considering some of the prices other resorts of what appears to be similar standards are offering.

I was contemplating using a stay cert ($108 for HR and $250... more expensive for GH) but changed my mind because I really want to make use of a suite upgrade for such a stay.

Does anyone know if I am likely to see rates as low as the ones I saw last year at any point or any chance of 3 for 2 or other promos etc. Any ways of bringing these prices down. Just wondering if it's worth waiting to book.

Thanks

Edit: Had a look around for a cheaper rate to try take advantage of brg and found quite a lor of sites giving cheaper rates although all of them included taxes which means they are exempt from brg according to the T's and C's.

I did however come accross one website selling rooms at the GH for less than 70% actual cost!! I'm personally not interested in this because I want to use a suite upgrade however if anyone wants to know more about where to get this rate, drop me a PM.
