Interesting experience….in trying to secure the free food & drink (in economy) on a recent AA flight that's now available for EXP, the F/A didn't know I was EXP, and in checking the manifest, it did NOT list me as the status. I showed her my card as proof of life and she rewarded me with snacks and wine, and apologized for it so of coure I'm not complaining about her, but what would cause my status to not be on the list? I book all my AA travel on aa.com and without question my AAadvantage number is attached to my record.

Probably also explains why I wasn't offered any goodies on my last economy flight (before I knew the food & drink were now being offered).
