As Cyba said, you'll have to fly LA via SCL and IPC. They fly from LAX, which is easy enough to get to from SEA; however, I've never seen any availability on the segments SCL-IPC or IPC-PPT on the BA website (LAX-SCL has some availability). From other posts, it seems that calling BAEC could help in a situation like this. Good luck.
