What are the terms for the weather waiver as issued by UA?
Late last week/ Early this week when Delta issued a weather waiver for travel in the Mid-West and the North-East it was specifically mentioned that one had to travel on or before Feb 8th.
Now I had to rebook 3 colleagues' tickets and Delta charged me the fare difference, between the actual fare paid and the fare for the new date of travel, as it was after Feb 8. Usually with weather waivers - the airline does not charge 'Change Fees', but only the difference in fare if any.
Now when I called in to make these changes one of the DL Elite phone line CS supervisor tried to negotiate with me a higher price. That story is for a different forum.
