MRs & Travel Waivers - Advice Needed

I have a SDT multi-leg MR tomorrow Friday. UA finally issued a waiver covering my trip date and now I'm trying to determine the best way to approach this run.

Truth is I've been traveling all week, am tired and would prefer not flying tomorrow.

If I were to rebook the entire run for a later date, how far out can I push it or what other issues will I face rebooking a SDT multi-leg MR?

The other consideration is that due to the weather, every segment of my MR is zeroed out. So, if I were to fly, what's the best way to maximize my efforts bump-wise?

Assuming I can get bumped on the 1st segment (LGA-DEN), do I then present the GA with rebooking the entire itinerary for a later date? Again, how much later can I push the MR out?

Any suggestions on how best to handle this waiver rebooking/or now possible bump run?

fwiw, a 1K Desk rep said that if I were to rebook/push out the entire MR to a future date, I would have to pay the fare difference on the new ticket, even with the waiver.

That sounds a bit odd to me but then again, that's why I'm here asking for advice.
