Just wondering if anyone on FT can tell me whether they have much success in upgrading on flights between YVR and HKG? I am booked next week and the KVS tool is showing just 2 C/J seats left so it's not looking too good at this point. I bought a T+ ticket and will be able to request an upgrade tomorrow at the 7 day window which I presume will be wait-listed.

Also does anyone know if the upgrade request needs to be re-booked at the 24 hour prior to the flight stage? I thought I read somewhere that AC was doing away with this and that the request would be in the hopper at the Gate as well.
