April in Florida is still quite nice. Perhaps ideal (although shoulder rates don't start until 5/1 and summer rates don't start until 6/1). So I wouldn't rule it out (especially considering that we have had a cool/cold winter so far). For me - the ocean is too cold for swimming in the winter (even in south Florida). And - after living in Florida for almost 40 years - well I guess I'm used to the heat. YMMV.
FWIW - my favorite room in the hotel is called an oceanfront junior suite (I've never stayed in a suite in the hotel before). It really isn't a suite - just a very large corner oceanfront room. But it's listed under suites on the website (and all the floor plans are on the website too). Are you planning to play tennis or golf? Robyn
