Anyone have recommendations regarding the seats: BA282 LAX-LHR flight (747-400) where we can use the bassinet for our infant? By looking at SeatGuru it seems that rows 12, 13 & 17 below & 60 upper deck are bulkhead seats so we would have to be in one of those. It looks like row 17 might have a bit more room, but I don't know if that's right. On the other hand, 60 above seems nice since there are fewer seats around and we don't want to disturb others in case the baby is noisy.

Also, does anyone know if there is a time limit for my proposed "stop over" in LA before heading on to Hawaii? Main leg would be AMS-LGW-LHR-LAX, then a couple months later, LAX-LIH or LAX-KOA.

If you have an infant I would stay on the lower deck. People up in the upper deck sit there mainly because its more quiet. As a parent of an infant as well I would rather sit on the lower deck in CW with my infant knowing that most people choose the upper deck for a more private and quiet setting. But thats just me.
